This is an original piece by Dune Design Studio — the Orlando, Florida studio that pioneered and patented the iconic hand-blown glass beach globe in 1993. Completely dry inside, the crystal-clear heavyweight glass sphere is half-filled with natural white sand and an assortment of authentic miniature seashells and loose coral pieces, creating a miniature coastal world suspended in glass. The globe rests on a decorative sunburst-shaped clam shell ceramic base that anchors the coastal theme beautifully.
